St. Louis River Fishing Report
Water temps are slowly climbing in the St. Louis River and the fish are starting to become more aggressive! Successful fishing techniques have been shad-style crank baits in bright colors and white. Look to the flats on the river in 4 to 10 feet to be most productive. Bigger fish have been coming on larger, shallow-diving minnow profile baits in the same depth range.
Lake Superior Fishing Report
The fishing on Lake Superior has been hit and miss recently. The best way to get fish is to get away from the other boats and traffic. Depths from 20 to 100 feet have still been producing trout, salmon and big walleyes. They are still biting best on the surface, 100 to 125 feet back behind the boat on minnow profile lures.
Good luck out there!
